Episode Three of Virgin Island centres around confidence, both in relationships and in sexual identity. The participants continue to open up, and this time we hear more about their personal backstories, which reveals just how vulnerable many of them are when it comes to sex, dating, and emotional intimacy.

Some of the participants bravely share their struggles around sexuality, which leads to a few emotional moments. It's raw and honest - and as always, the therapists handle it with care and without pressure. Everything continues to be voluntary, which is important when dealing with such sensitive issues.

The episode includes more touching exercises, similar to what we've seen in Episodes One and Two. These sessions do help build confidence for some, but for others - like Ben - it feels like the pressure might have had the opposite effect. That balance is noticeable: some people thrive, while others seem to shrink.

There's a new element introduced with dating skills, which participants are invited to try out voluntarily. A few jump in and seem to enjoy the chance to connect with others, while others clearly find it difficult. Slowly, we start to see some of the group forming bonds - subtle but noticeable shifts in connection.

But despite those elements, the episode overall feels repetitive. Compared to the first two, it doesn't move the series forward in any major way. The themes and structure are starting to feel familiar - and as a result, it was easier to drift while watching. It's not bad, just a bit flat compared to the emotional momentum of previous episodes.
