To capture his version of the film, Desmond Morris required a rabbit. Using the idea that a rabbit is frozen in headlights, Morris suggested to Ramona Baulch that they should capture it while in this frozen state. Half jokingly, he suggested that - to make sure it doesn't run off - Baulch should sit on the bonnet with a net, ready to leap off when the car started. When Baulch agreed willingly to the task, Morris knew he had found the love of his life.
