The beginning of an epic galactic journey

It's interesting how a sci-fi short can be both highly original and heavily influenced by other films at the same time. You'll quickly notice numerous influences from a variety of sci-fi classics spanning several decades, yet the story still feels novel and unique. One thing I can say for sure is that the special effects are absolutely amazing for a short running only seven minutes. The music choice would probably fit better in a Wild West comedy, but you get over it quickly. I liked the short, and the single biggest letdown was that it ended too soon. I really hope there will be a sequel one day, as this short feels like the beginning of a great space adventure.
