Goofs
The show is set in Texas hill country- where football reigns supreme. So why are Robin Dunne and Aaron Ashmore quipping about HOCKEY teams in the scene in the sheriff's office where they're on the phone with the coroner?

This would not happen in Texas.

It would happen in a police station in Alberta, Saskatchewan or Manitoba which are Canadian provinces with similar resources- cattle and oil.

This is what you get when your cast and crew are from a different part of the world. Both actors are Canadian and Dunne wrote the script - which might explain the sports dissonance. It was filmed in Victoria BC.
