The first character created in the Series was Captain Vincent Leavel. In 1977 the first of the stories created has the Captain alone on a mysterious planet where the dinosaurs of Earth have been preserved. The stories, worlds, and characters continued to evolve over a period of decades, mostly in Buffalo New York's Industrial spaces, and Miami Beach's Art-Deco Hotels. A good portion of the tales were written in actress Marion Davies Miami residence. The mistress of Willian Randolph Hearst who had built the house for her, the house was purchased and restored by Dante D'Anthony.
