This is a remake of the 2024 version, No one messes with Ms. Keller, with Nick Westaway and Brittany Marsicek. While both movies share the same plot, the original is much better due to the performers.

In this version, Kelsey Susino plays Ella, the wife of Harrison, played by Ben Taylor. Both versions of the movie center around the mother-in-law and the wannabe fiancée who mistreat Ella, even turning her son against her. A diagnosis of leukemia causes Ella to leave her abusive family to live for herself while she can. Unfortunately, the things she decides to do are absolutely stupid.

The ending of the movie is ridiculous. It seems to have been added in an attempt to make the female lead seem independent and successful. Unfortunately, it fails miserably.
