Much like with A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon (2019) which released the same year as Toy Story 4 (2019), Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom (2026) released the same year as Toy Story 5 (2026). Coincidentally both films released in 2026 are PG rated follow ups to films that had both previously been rated G in 2019.
This is the second feature length film of 2026 to be centered around sheep, after The Sheep Detectives (2026).
