In 1959, 13 people are stranded on an islet near Mallorca during a storm. At their small hotel, English tourist Elisa Mander is found dead. When suicide seems unlikely, retired actor Basil, once Sherlock Holmes on screen, investigates.

In the spring of 1959, thirteen people were stuck by a violent storm on a small islet near Mallorca. Any of them could anticipate what is about to happen at the small hotel where they're staying: Elisa Mander, a discreet British tourist, is found dead. What initially seems like a suicide soon raises unsettling signs it may in fact be murder. Basil, a retired actor once famous for portraying none other than Sherlock Holmes on the big screen, finds himself unexpectedly tasked with unraveling the case. In a place no one can leave and no one can reach every guest and staff member becomes a suspect in a crime that grows more intricate and twisted by the minute.
