Streaming Stars, Then and Now

An impoverished prospector, by the name of Allen, tirelessly tunnels into the side of an Appalachian mountain in search of gold. Once he's shoveled past the overburden, Allen eagerly chisels away at the stone in hopes of finding a gold vein. Having carved out a decent chunk of quartz-rich gravel, he sets out for the river to pan it out for colors. Much to his shock and joy, Allen finds a nugget of gold, which has him race back up to the mine in search of more. However, his reckless pursuit of more leaves the prospector trapped underground when a cave-in buries him alive.
