I LOVED THIS ONE SO MUCH!!

Kasey Esser + Autumn Noel = CHEMISTRY ROYALTY. At this point, if they're in a Vertical movie together, I already know I'm about to be fed.

Now let's talk kitchen chaos because that scene? PERFECTION. Lucas and Noah fighting over who gets to help Emily like two seagulls fighting over one french fry-peak sibling energy. And Emily just standing there, casually catching an egg mid-air like a farmgirl ninja and telling them both to get lost? ICONIC. Wife her up (which Lucas did 😏)

Paul Addison as Noah-unexpected MVP. He also fell for Emily (understandable, queen behavior), but when he realized she loved Lucas he actually backed off?? A respectful king in a love triangle?? RARE SPECIES. PROTECT HIM.

Sarah Moliski as Sophie-oh the villainy!! She plays "I'm sweet but actually I want to ruin your life" so well. Honestly, give her awards.

Now... let's address the TRUE VILLAIN OF THIS MOVIE: Lucas and Noah's mother.

Ma'am. PLEASE. Get a hobby, get therapy, join a yoga class-just stop sabotaging your son's happiness!!! Every time she opened her mouth I felt my blood pressure rise. And at the end she shows up like "sorry :) here's some fruit :)" GIRL DO NOT EAT THAT. THAT IS NOT AN APOLOGY, THAT IS A SNOW WHITE SITUATION.

But then... the Cinderella line.

Emily thinking she's just some lowly girl and Lucas being like "You're not Cinderella because you'll still be my princess after midnight." Me: violently kicking my feet, screaming into a pillow, ascending into the heavens.
