Sarah Adams is given a drugged drink by a taxi driver and is certain she was raped. After months of Sarah feeling disbelieved by the police, her case is dropped and the man is free to attack again.
Laila, a student, is drugged and assaulted by Worboys. Despite CCTV, she appears to be dismissed by police and her case is dropped. Eventually, police spot a disturbing pattern.
After a police appeal, Worboys is eventually caught and convicted. Carrie waives her anonymity. Sarah and Laila, whose lives have been turned upside down, decide to sue the police.
Sarah and Laila win their case against the Met. As they rebuild their lives, Worboys is granted parole. Joined by Carrie, they must now campaign to keep him in prison.
