Gawdat finds out about his sister Samia's relationship with Hussein and drives a wedge between them. As a result, Hussein leaves Luxor for Cairo, where he finds work as a nightclub musician. When Samia later discovers her brother's scheme, she travels to Cairo in search of Hussein.
