This documentary focuses on a handful of small breweries in New Hampshire and the guys who started them and run them. Some of them are interesting characters, without a doubt. This doc celebrates the beer culture of the granite state, but I had a nagging question about it. As a knowledgeable beer fan, I can say that the beer in Vermont is rightly celebrated and that there are a couple of breweries in Massachusetts that are famous among beer fans. New Hampshire definitely lags behind 2 of its neighbors in this regard. I had only heard of one of the breweries profiled here, and it went out of business a couple of years ago. New Hampshire still has a way to go before it can claim to be a regional beer powerhouse.
