The NCAA sent out a request to other schools to donate #22 jerseys to help raise money. 506 colleges and universities sent a jersey and Lauren signed them all for an auction to raise money for DIPG research.
Xavier University provided the use of their basketball arena, the Cintas Center, for Lauren's first collegiate game so they could raise more awareness for DIPG research. The Cintas Center has a seating capacity of 10,250 while Mount St. Joseph's home court, the Harrington Center, seats only 2,400.
Tickets for Lauren's first collegiate game at the Cintas Center sold out in less than an hour on October 22, 2014.
