Hitler's obsession with the occult is well-documented and has been the subject of myriad media over the decades, from National Geographic: Hitler and the Occult (2007) to Hellboy (2004).
The US Army Air Force (The "Air Force", as an independent branch didn't exist until 1947) did have black airmen in WW2 (like the famous Tuskeegee Airmen), but it was still racially segregated til 1948, so didn't have mixed-race bomber crews, like the one depicted, during WW2.
