A "present day" opening of Frankelda beginning to retell the story to the book version of Herneval was replaced with a prologue featuring Frankelda's mother, the Seven Clan Leaders arriving to Procustes's meeting was a much longer scene, and scenes related to MIteletas being instructed to spy on Procustes as well as Ceimut using crystal communication to warn the king and queen about the revolution were removed.
