This review is written strictly from the point of view of someone who is looking for a good whodunnit, one where the perpetrator can be guessed from clues given.

This one was going real well, I might have given it a 9 except for one thing. Before I mention the one thing let me say this is a typically good Brokenwood mystery with funny characters and lets a light hearted humor. A whole host of suspects and a good number a red herrings. The lady who runs the bar doesn't show up in this one as she usually does, but Froto and his usual pal do.

Now to the big issue with this one. A quite weak motive for the killer(s). I won't say anything more than that as I don't wanna give anything away, but as a guy who likes to logically who the perpetrator or perpetrators are, it's very difficult to guess when the motive is very weak. For this reason, I rated it lower.

Maybe if you're reading this before watching and you'll do better than I did and guessing the killers(s). Good luck!
