Tailgate was a true slow burn. I nodded off a couple times, but not out of boredom. It moved at a slow pace but that aided to the plot. The cinematography was so well done; This reminded me of an episode of Supernatural where everything was shot from the view of the car, as if we, the viewer, were the car. Everything was mostly from the car's perspective and I tell you, that was so creative. People were also gradually revealed, both their background and the actual view of the person. By the end, I was wide awake and genuinely impressed. Don't watch it at night, and have some coffee, & this one will be worth sticking it out.
