On May 14, 1994, WCW and ECW had a cross-promotion event titled When Worlds Collide. On November 6 that same year, AAA also held an event with the same title. WWE later used the title Worlds Collide on its pay-per-view events on NXT brand, years after purchasing both WCW and ECW. In 2025, WWE announced it also had purchased AAA.
