Just a regular evening in the lives of a regular Czech family. They seem like an ordinary family but the husband is convinced that he is getting fired from work after more than thirty years. His wife wants him to make a change, get a better paid job and be a much more ambitious man in this new capitalistic society. They get so preoccupied by the fictional plot of the television movie they keep watching that they start getting lost between fiction and their own lives.
