Bati is not just a film that was made in fiji, it is a beacon of inspiration for all filmmakers in fiji and the pacific that our stories can be seen and heard on the big screen and have a mainstream release in other countries just like Hollywood and Bollywood films. Amazing film, beautifully shot, with simple and powerful story with characters that every fijian can relate to as they tackle the struggles faced in film. This might have been the most realistic film that I've watched, and that may be biased cause I'm from Fiji.
