Miley Cyrus in Miley Cyrus: Something Beautiful (2025)

Trivia

Miley Cyrus: Something Beautiful

In the music video for "Walk of Fame", Miley crawls around Arnold Schwarzenegger's star on the titular sidewalk. This is likely a nod to her own dating history, for in 2014 through to 2015, she dated the actor's son, Patrick.
Due to spending most of the budget of the film on archival fashion, the production couldn't afford renting out the Hollywood Walk of Fame to film the music video for the song of the same name, so Miley Cyrus and the production team simply filmed there very late at night, without a permit. Due to the sidewalk being incredibly dirty, Cyrus ended up with a severe knee infection that sent her to the ICU.
For this film, the fashion house Mugler sent out their largest shipment of archival fashion that they had ever sent to a single person, being Miley Cyrus.
The film was shot over the span of two weeks. During a Q&A at Tribeca Film Festival, Miley Cyrus said that she did not anticipate filming videos for "Pretend You're God" and "Reborn", but ended up doing so anyway. She decided to film the former because she had an archival Jean Paul Gaultier piece "wasting away in [her] dressing room", and that "there was nothing they could do once [she] put it on" and began filming.
When speaking to Zane Lowe for Apple Music, Cyrus described the film as her "way of touring".
