Bryan and Lili welcome Charles Picerni, Jr., the fearless stuntman and stunt coordinator who brings many favorite movie and TV action scenes to life, risking it all to deliver heart-pounding moments. Chuck talks about his father doubling for uncle Paul Picerni in the hit TV series "The Untouchables" and how his father Charlie Picerni doubled on the 1960's Batman series and later Starsky and Hutch TV series in the 1970's, then moving up to Stunt coordinator and first- and second-unit director. Chuck speaks at great lengths about being Paramount's youngest Stunt Coordinator on the over $120 million-dollar profitable film "The Hunt for Red October". Prior to this, Chuck references the same director, John McTiernan, working on 1988 film "Die Hard", choosing his father Charlie as stunt coordinator. Charlie being unavailable, he went to Charlie's son Chuck to stunt coordinate "The Hunt for Red October". Also, Chuck elaborates on "The Hunt for Red October" helicopter scenes shot in multiple locations in Washington and California for the film as a stunt double for Alec Baldwin. Chuck, in his early 20's, successfully landed the Helmsman Klingon role that was also a stuntman first and foremost on the 1984 Leonard Nimoy directed film "Star Trek III: The Search for Spock". Chuck talks about how Hollywood stunt coordinators choose their stuntmen for a film/TV series, particularly how R.A. Rondell, stunt Coordinator for the Star Trek III film, chose him and would also choose him for the following film Star Trek 4: The Voyage Home. A deep dive into the Christpher Lloyd lead Bird of Prey scenes plus transporting as a boarding party on the doomed Enterprise with stunts, details and working with director Leonard Nimoy plus Branscombe Richmond, Stephen Liska, John Larroquette, and Christopher Lloyd in the popular film. Chuck is asked by Bryan and Lili about working specifically on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Episode "Past Tense, Part 2" as a San Francisco SWAT unit member with helmet under stunt coordinator Dennis Madalone, as he vaguely recalls working on the Deep Space Nine series and Star Trek Voyager. Chuck does specifically recall working with Madalone and Jeff Cadiente.
