Keep Austin weird is a testament to everything that makes the Texas State Capitol such a unique place. Austin has a little bit of everything. Amazing food, interesting people, and the natural beauty of places like Barton Springs. And we can't forget the music scene; there is truly nothing like it in the world. And it's all powered by the CapMetro transit system. CEO Dottie Watkins is in the midst of a massive project to expand the system with more rail stations, light rail, more Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) routes, plus their bus electrification project. Paul starts at Terry Black's famous BBQ restaurant with the Food Network's Ali Khan and learns (some) of the secrets of great Texas BBQ. Then we get into the transit starting with CapMetro COO Andrew Skabowski then a project update with Dottie Watkins and her team. After the amazing tour of Austin--including its bats--we get a tour of CapMetro's operations center before wrapping up with some great music.
