Plot

The film is a dramatic narrative, including themes of family and sacrifice. Two characters a widow and her daughter fill their lives with poetry and art when life was easier in the past and art was much more appreciated. Twenty years later and after a heated argument the characters separate when the daughter decides to leave hoping to start a stable career. In an attempt to get her daughter back the mother sells the family history yet dies shortly after wards. The daughter realizes her mother's sacrifice and reaches back to her roots.

The film is a dramatic narrative that includes a widow and her daughter who are very talented poets and have a wall where they post their poetry on. Twenty years later, and after capitalism conquered the world, the daughter now an Arabic literature graduate, working in a restaurant to support herself and her mother. Her mother does not believe in leaving literature for money This leads to a heated argument and forces the daughter to leave the house. In an attempt to get her daughter back, the mother sells the family history (the papers of poetry) yet dies shortly afterwards leaving her daughter a check and a note.
