Five weeks after the aliens attacked, after the virus spread, humanity has been all but eradicated. One survivor, Lynn Gellert, searches for supplies with no one to talk to but her mother's old voice recorder. Though she works hard to remain optimistic, Lynn can't deny that the symptoms of the alien virus are setting in.

With the shocking revelation of her pregnancy, Lynn's hunt for survival takes on a new level of danger and desperation. However, not only is Lynn doubtful she can survive for long, she doesn't think she can be a mother in this world even if she survives.

Lynn tries to accept her situation, stuck in a world with no one. She has decided to raise her child, no matter what kind of hell she has to navigate to do it. And when suddenly put to the test, Lynn must fend for herself in the wild if she hopes to see another day.

After leaving the city, Lynn has finally found shelter. However, the previous occupant is still inside. With nowhere else to go, Lynn resolves to stay, to try and make the cabin a safe home. But she finds herself pushed beyond her breaking point.

On the cusp of motherhood, Lynn is running out of supplies and is unprepared. On top of that, she has no choice but to leave the cabin due to the unexpected dangers beyond the alien threat. With her shotgun at her side, Lynn ventures into town to prepare for the coming of her child.

Lynn is too late. Despite her best efforts, the baby is coming and she is still not ready. She has been spotted.
