The film is adapted from the first two volumes of the Belgian comic series Les Enfants de la Résistance by Vincent Dugomier and Benoît Ers.
The story was deliberately aimed toward a family/school audience; AlloCiné lists it as "Dès 8 ans," while Cinéfranco recommended it for ages 13+.
