"Picassos äventyr" received the highest quality points this year, directed and written by Tage Danielsson and co-written by Hans Alfredson. Olle Hellbom received the best director award with "Bröderna Lejonhjärta". Lill Terselius got the best actress award for "Den allvarsamma leken", while Anders Lönnbro got the best actor award for "Lyftet". Filmmaker Eric M. Nilsson was honored the jury's special prize. Editor Wic Kjellin received the the newly founded Ingmar Bergman-award.
