At a birthday, a Sardar is mocked for not drinking. He explains his choice, inspired by values from the Golden Temple. He reminds friends that no faith promotes intoxication. He joins the party on his sober terms.

A group of friends gathers to celebrate a birthday. Among them is a Punjabi Sikh (Sardar) who is repeatedly questioned for not drinking alcohol. His friends tease him, insisting that all Sardars drink and that it's part of being Punjabi. Calmly, he explains that he chooses not to drink-just like his brothers. He shares a meaningful experience from his visit to the Golden Temple, where intoxicants were prohibited and people were engaged in selfless service. He says that what is not allowed in the Guru's home is not allowed in his life either. He emphasizes that alcohol doesn't align with his values and reminds his friends that no religion or spiritual path promotes substance use. He encourages them to reflect on their habits. In the end, he agrees to attend the party-but on his terms, staying true to his beliefs, without drinking.
