Born in Barcelona in May 1987, after finishing high school, Anneke Necro studied Fashion Design and, without quite knowing how, ended up working as a stripper to support her studies. That didn't last long, but it was enough to plant a seed that would later push her into posing as an erotic model. She didn't do it professionally, but, tired of mundane jobs and looking for a way to develop herself artistically, one day she turned her attention to porn and, together with a photographer, launched BlackMind Studios. It didn't prosper, but it was the prelude to what would become her current experimental studio: Mantis Lab. She recently made her official debut as a writer, publishing her first essay, "Dissident Desire. The Politics of Pleasure."
