Karl is just trying to have a normal life. In order to cope with his surroundings, himself and life in general, Karl studies a variety of far eastern life philosophies that do not quite fit into his hostile environment. Karl's girlfriend on the other hand knows exactly how to get what she wants. And his mom doesn't care much about anything but sex, drugs and rock'n'roll. Karl and his Mom have only one thing in common, Dante, their dealer. Various unsolved conflicts in Karl's relationships and a variety of "accidents", lead to a quickly growing storm. Karl does his best to stay in the eye of the hurricane, but when he finally tries to get out, it's already too late.
