Judy an actress living in New York City struggles with her sexuality and turns to her best friend a drag queen for advice. Hilarity ensues when Mazie Judy's drag queen friend, calls her out on her own inner homophobia and denial that she is gay. Judy who is still in love with a woman she had an affair with still tries to convince herself that she is straight, but in the end her denial lifts and love wins the day.

As Judy, tries to hold her crazy, artist's life together, while trying to convince herself that she is not in love with a woman, she decides to marry a man that she doesn't love. Hilarity ensues when she seeks the advice of Mazie Maz, a wise drag queen. Love is... well not for the faint of heart. Or was that the straight of heart?... Or was that? Love or Madness? Perhaps true love has a bit of madness within its magic. After all, a New York City a love story is always touched by a bit of magical, madness, right?. Although Judy seeks help from various sources including her therapist, she cannot help but remember the way she felt with Zoe, Zoe's kisses and Zoe's undying love for her. However, even when Judy denies loving Zoe, Judy plans her next move to get Zoe's attention. Will Mazie Maz save the day? It's about love. Does gender or sexuality matter when it comes to true love?
