A hard-hitting short drama about Mateo, a young man (Reinaldo Zavarce) facing a tough decision that must be put into action: to stand against a bully. In his case, his own father, a violent man that constantly causes pain and trouble to him, his mother and young sister.

The story is told through a class assignment (literature or creating writing course) he attends, and the caring teacher (Jonathan Ohye) notices that he seems a little off. In the text, we watch flashbacks of Mateo's family dynamics, the conflicts and also his heavy boxing training. No more beatings and reprehensions from the old man, he believes, and the need to protect his innocent sister. A possibility happening or only an idea that goes through his head?

No need for the filmmakers to include a disclaimer of inspired by real events, as we can honestly believe that things like this happen in reality. If not that much as a reality of sons and daughters standing against abusive parents, but as a certain thought that echoes inside anyone who faced some form of violence in their household and that those acts must stop one day. It's easy to believe in such story, and the cast makes it all more effective and powerfully dramatic. 9/10.
