After the commercial success of W.I.L.D., Smolnikov became interested in expanding the franchise and chose Terra Studio's work about crackers as a joke film for April Fools' Day.
It took about a day to create the model of the killer cracker. It took 2 packs of crackers, 6 tubes of glue and 3 sheets of paper. Because the crackers did not stick well, they had to use paper. With a final budget of 500 rubles, the film became more than 16 times more expensive than the first one.
