The play ran twice in London theatres between 2025 and 2026. From July 10 to September 13, 2025 it ran at the National Theatre's Lyttelton Theatre, later transferring to the West End's Wyndham's Theatre between March 19 and June 20, 2026.
After a brief cinema release in late 2025, it released for non-UK streaming on March 9, 2026 and UK streaming on July 7, 2026; both on the National Theatre at Home streaming service.

The play follows National Theatre Live: Prima Facie (2022), also written by Suzie Miller and directed by Justin Martin, and will form the first in a loose trilogy dealing with the legal system from said writing/directing duo.
After it's two London runs at the National Theatre's Lyttelton Theatre in 2025, and in the West End at Wyndham's Theatre in mid 2026, the play later transferred to New York City for a Broadway run at the Music Box Theatre, from November 10, 2026 to February 21, 2027. All three runs starred Rosamund Pike in the lead role playing Jessica Parks.
