Few films do as good a job of capturing what is purely unique and beautifully wrong with Portland than 'Drug Holiday'. The dialogue is crisp, the cinematography is sharp, and the hard realities of ennui and existential boredom are presented with a candid combination of humor and vulnerability. Ilima Considine proves with her second film that she deserves the mantle of Portland's underground storyteller.
