The girl takes a holiday from heavy dramatics and the complications emerge on the eve of the wedding. The troubles burst from the swapping identities between Sara and the judge. They exchange bodies due to a strange meteorological phenomenon... and with them, their convictions about each other. A Wild New Screwball Comedy...With a Switch!.How freaky would it be if you turned into a judge?

Stepmother and stepdaughter swap bodies in this Spanish version of "Freaky Friday," the 2003 film starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan, who are replaced by Paz Padilla, and Maia Zategi. Sympathetic interpretations struggle gamely to overcome the increasingly predictable plot. There is a mild fun here and there, especially when the girl transformed into judge acts at the trial. The process work is abysmal but the sunny personalities of the two leading actresses, Paz Padilla, Maia Zaitegi, see the project through with charm to spare. Here nothing too drastic happens and attendant adults can rest assured. Endearing performances enliven resistible dollops related to work , school and holiday camp. Paz Padilla gets to show off her talent for gawky physical comedy and there's something a little diffrent about Maia Zaitegi. More genuinely amusing are sporadic incidents involving at the courtroom and vacation camp. Alongside the two main actresses, there's a recognizable cast with some enjoyable supporting characters, such as Antonio Resines as the grandfather, El Cejas, El Langui, David Fernández, Maribel Salas, Ricardo Castella and the popular Miguel Ángel Revilla as a councilman marrying couples while simultaneously promoting Cantabrian anchovies.

There are various versions dealing with personality swapping, the first was ¨Freaky Friday¨ (1976) by Gary Nelson with Jodie Foster , Barbara Harris; ¨Freaky Friday¨ (version 2oo3) by Mark Waters with Lindsay Lohan, Janet Lee Curtis and in similar style: ¨13 Going on 30¨with Jennifer Garner, Mark Ruffalo , ¨Vice Versa¨ with Judge Reinhold, Fred Savage and ¨Big¨ with Tom Hanks, Elizabeth Perkins.

The motion picture -filmed in Vitoria-Gasteiz- was averagely directed by Ana Murugarren and with hardly any originality, since it simply copies situations already seen in previous versions of the peculiar story. The film has been seen by more than 350,000 spectators and accumulates a BO of more than 2.2M euros. His previous feature film, 'La higuera de los bastardos', after its premiere in Spain reached the screens and platforms of the US after passing through the Fantastic Fest, the Hollywood Film Festival (Global Grand Jury Cinematic Excellence) the Albuquerque Film & Music Experience (Best Director) or the Seattle Latino Film Festival (Special Jury Prize).
