Set in the streets of NY, this short film fully encapsulates you into the world of an elderly refugee named Eshete, who takes care of stray cats whilst sharing his life stories with his local neighbourhood, intercut with re-created scenes from Ethiopia.

Wonderfully shot and a very intimate portrait, raising awareness of the refuge that is needed in the U. S.

From the cold winter days to the rainy, wet summers, this short depicts the resilient spirit of Eshete as he tries to find sanity living on the streets whilst taking care of cats who are searching for a new home.
