Mohammad Razzaq, a principled government school teacher, finds himself in a moral dilemma. His son, Abid, is struggling to find employment, despite his best efforts. Sabira, asked Razzaq, to help Abid secure a job, but only if Razzaq is willing to use his influence to make a phone call. Torn between his desire to help his son and his commitment to teaching his students the importance of honesty and integrity, Razzaq is reluctant to make the call. Having always preached against corruption, he must now decide whether to compromise his values for the sake of his son's future.
