It is stated that the wadding used in the gun to shoot Judge Woodhull was a page torn from the book of Judges in the Bible. Upon quickly pausing when the page is shown, it can be seen that it is Judges 1:23-24. The 24th verse actually mentions "spies" and takes place during a war. Earlier in the first chapter also mentions of "Benjamin," as well as "Caleb"- two members of the Culper Spy Ring.
