It is stated that the wadding used in the gun to shoot Judge Woodhull was a page torn from the book of Judges in the Bible. Upon quickly pausing when the page is shown, it can be seen that it is Judges 1:23-24. The 24th verse actually mentions "spies" and takes place during a war. Earlier in the first chapter also mentions of "Benjamin," as well as "Caleb"- two members of the Culper Spy Ring.

Goofs
The characters refer to Reverend Tallmadge as "the Reverend" and address him as "Reverend Tallmadge." At the time, "the reverend" was merely an honorific, akin to "the honorable" before a judge's name. Thus, a clergyman would have been referred to as "the Reverend Mr. Tallmadge" and addressed simply as "Mr. Tallmadge."
