Honored is a smart, character-driven comedy that centers around CLAIRE, a high-strung, Type-A high school senior obsessed with getting into Yale, and her polar-opposite younger brother, ELI, a laid-back sophomore who seems to care about little more than video games and snacks. Set primarily in the chaos of their suburban kitchen, the story unfolds in the micro-moments of teenage panic, sibling bickering, and unexpected heart. When a make-or-break school project threatens to derail Claire's perfect GPA and, by extension, her entire future, she spirals into an academic crisis. Meanwhile, Eli-armed with only sarcasm, a pint of ice cream, and zero pressure about his own future-offers a lazy yet oddly grounding counterpoint to her stress.
