A coming-of-age story about a boy named Boris at the tender time of his early life between childhood and adulthood. Boris is unable to relate to his parents and their constant arguing over economical problems. He must now face his grandfather dying, who he looks at as a mentor, giving advice on how traditional values are slowly diminishing into new modern values. Boris now deals with the emotional entanglements of himself having to grow up and his acceptance toward death in the family.
