Paolo, the director, is in a foreign country to create an autobiographical play in which he testifies to his relationship with his father. It's the night of the premiere. His brother calls him and tells him to go back to the bedside of their dying father but Paolo, in shock, decides to stay for the last parts of the show. For Paolo, the stakes of public representation and this last rehearsal take on a new meaning: to fight with his father, and to say goodbye to him.
