The original title of the film was "Sexta Onda, Sete Quedas" ("Sixth Wave, Seven Falls"), in a reference to the 'Saltos del Gairá', also known as 'Sete Quedas', (The 'Seven Falls'), and to the Sixth Wave of Extinction.
