Dinner Rush is a well-acted and well-made zombie horror short. In fact, I forgot I was watching a short film, and it was only the sudden ending that reminded me of it. That abrupt ending is really the film's only major flaw; the story feels unfinished and desperately needs a sequel.

I hope we'll get one soon, because I want to know what happened between the ending and something first suggested at the beginning of the film, as well as what happens afterward. This is the kind of story that could easily be expanded into a full-length horror movie. In fact, it would make a very interesting zombie horror film.

The genre tags suggest this is an action-comedy horror film. I didn't really notice any comedic elements here; it felt more like a drama, and I think it's better that way. Turning this into a comedy might not be the right move. We don't need another Shaun of the Dead; we need serious zombie films with good acting and a solid story. I feel Dinner Rush has real potential from that perspective.
