Having reached the age of 40, Aldo (Alessio Vassallo) finds himself experiencing an unexpected turning point: the victim of ghosting by Alessia (Selene Caramazza), his partner for almost fifteen years, Aldo is in the midst of an existential crisis. On the advice of a friend, he decides to go to a psychotherapist to try to resolve the questions that torment him. The meeting with the latter, Carlo (Nino Frassica), an introverted man in his seventies, and the discovery that he too had suffered the same situation as Aldo forty years earlier, will be the turning point towards a new awareness and a new phase of life as well as the probable beginning of a healthy friendship.
