General Carl Gustaf Armfeldt is going to build an international ballet academy in the mountain village of Tullingdal in Trøndelag. But he faces a tricky problem: the village's finest snowmobile trail runs exactly where the ballet academy is supposed to be built. The snowmobile enthusiasts will do everything they can to stop Armfeldt, and soon the village is struck by a series of unexplained events.
