All the sets were created by Anton Doiron in his house. The hallway set was built in his back yard. One day, while Anton was at work, the wind blew the hall over and destroyed it. Anton called Karl (Bruce) in a panic and he brought over scrap lumber and helped rebuild it.
Mr Sour Cream's voice is done by Anton's son Max Doiron. Mr Sour Cream wasn't going to talk, just make growling sounds. When Max went to record the growls, he started talking about beans in a funny voice. It inspired Anton to modify the character to talk. Max also stars as the P13 android.
Bruce's dream sequence is filmed at Sandy Beach in Juneau, Alaska (on a rare sunny day). Anton had to re-shoot the sequence due to switching to new HD cameras and the poor quality of the initial take.
It was created over six years with a budget of $10,000. All the sets were built in Anton's house and back yard.
