Episode #6.51

The second main game - words that are doubles of themselves - was originally a final grid, after a fashion, in Episode #2.8 (1994).

While this edition has the relatively easy premise that all the words are presented in full, alongside their definitions, the Paul Daniels version had the arguably much harder concept that the words were only given singularly, and the contestant had to work out if they were correct words if doubled. (eg. "Tam" was presented, with the full word being "Tamtam").

Perhaps accordingly, as there was such a difference between both grids, despite the similar subject, only one word crossed over onto both versions: "Dikdik" and the definition of "animal" for this version, and just the word "Dik" in Paul Daniels' take on the grid. Somewhat surprisingly, neither host used it as the topic of innuendo.
